Fixture against Builth Wells has been cancelled, we are now playing away to Llantrisant

Gareth" Badger" Edwards has been appointed club Cap tain for the 2008-2009 season. Former Maesteg Welsh and Maesteg Youth product Paul Smith returns to the club following some time at Bonymaen and Bridgend to take on the vice-captaincy from the centre position.
Paul Clapham, who skippered the side so well last season during the injury prolonged absence of Ian Boobyer, has of course already been appointed as player /coach, and is tipped to be lineout captain.
